Prat Moghe: Data Compliance & Auditing
Prat Moghe, SVP, Strategy and New Markets, writes a blog on Data Compliance & Auditing. He was previously the Founder & CEO of Tizor – a leader in data auditing that was acquired by Netezza. Attention to the data compliance market has increased significantly in recent years due to regulations like Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Netezza now offers data compliance solutions based on Mantra appliances that offer enterprise visibility into data and automate compliance reporting for data warehouses and transactional databases. Prat's blog discusses the challenges of data auditing and compliance from a practitioner's point of view. Data owners, data architects, database administrators, auditors and compliance professionals, as well as IT, governance and security teams will find this blog relevant.

Shawn Dolley: Previously Impossible
When businesses establish processes they are based on then-current technology. Technology evolves faster than these business processes update. As a result, leaders should be able to update their processes to make business faster and smarter with this newer technology. The key to this process innovation is creating a vision for business professionals. We can help them see they can execute their business in a way that was...previously impossible.

Shawn Dolley has worked in the business intelligence space since 1995. He is currently VP and General Manager of Healthcare and Life Sciences at Netezza Corporation.

Dai Clegg: An Innocent Abroad
I've been working with relational databases since the 1980s. For most of that time with Oracle, in the trenches as a consultant, in the ivory tower as a methodologist, in a suit as a marketer and in the skunk works as a product developer. I have recently escaped the Death Star and joined Netezza, mostly to rediscover the joy of a small company with great technology, focussed on what the customers really want. Oh and the freedom to write a blog like this.

I also chair the board of trustees of a small charity (Evidence for Development) that is building and spreading the skills and technologies to make aid projects in 3rd world rural communities much more effective by actually basing aid decisions on accurate local economic models built by local experts on open source software (think BI for a village in Malawi).
